Ábúendur fram til ársins 2007 voru þau Ingileif og Guðni sem fluttust þá á Vopnafjörð. Silvia og Edze bjuggu síðan á jörðinni til 2015. Hámundarstaðir teljast innsti bær á Vopnafjarðarströnd. Jörðin er all stór. Þurrir bakkar eru meðfram sjónum og þar upp af hallalitlar mýrar, en nær fjallinu hallamýrar og mólendi upp á heiðarbrún. Í heiðinni er gróðurfar fjölbreytt, melar og holt,flóar,harðvelli og mólendi á víxl, allt fremur vel gróið. Vötn eru þar all nokkur. Fuglabjarganes skagar í sjó fram…

We have now complete the slaughter season autumn 2017. We slaughter 29.800 pc. and the average weight for lamb was 15,73 kg. Compare to last year the average weight 2016 was 16,4 kg. but that was the highest average weight for lamb for many years.
